During Community Week in September, more than 600 employees of Johnson & Johnson in Switzerland come together to make a difference in close to 50 social projects. Their mission: use their talent for good to give to back to the communities and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals by championing health, promoting equality, and driving climate goals forward.
This year, employees give their hands, minds, and hearts to a colorful variety of projects at the various sites of Johnson & Johnson in Switzerland. From taking part in the national Clean-Up Day to maintaining hiking trails, becoming e-bike couriers, cooking meals for the homeless, building animal shelters, and supporting disadvantaged children and the elderly – doing good comes in many different forms.
Community Week is not only a great opportunity to give back to society and the planet but also a way for employees to learn about existing challenges and injustices in Switzerland. That helps to open employee's minds and broaden their perspectives.
Demonstrating social responsibility and committing to inclusion, health, and sustainability have been part of our credo and Johnson & Johnson’s culture for 130 years. Community Week is an integral part of this social commitment. Throughout the year, we support our NGO partners and offer various Talent for Good programs to strengthen our communities and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals in a variety of ways.
